The Story of Trailblazer Dog Academy Founder, Ryan Unak

I’m Ryan Unak—founder of Trailblazer Dog Academy. Before this was a business, it was personal. I’ve spent my life around dogs, and I was always the one training the family pets. But when I met my first truly difficult dog, everything changed. Traditional obedience failed. I felt overwhelmed, embarrassed, and out of my depth.

That defining experience lit a fire. I began an intensive, two-year, live-in apprenticeship with a world-class mentor. I trained relentlessly in advanced behavior modification, high-level obedience, and problem-solving for the most severe cases.
